Tibetan dhyangro drums

The Nepalese/Tibetan "shaman drum" is called Dhyangro which is beat with a coiled stick.  This drum typically has a two foot head with a triangular carved pointed stick coming out of the bottom.  It bears a resemblance to the Tibetan Na drum which is used in sutra chanting, the drum was likely imported from the shamanic tradition as Buddhism spread north from India and Nepal.
